Designing Policy

Creating and using a Candy Dino without a MYO ticket is NOT allowed!

Candy Dinos do MYO approvals exclusively on our Discord server. To submit a design for approval, you’ll need to fill out the form in #myo-submission with all the necessary details.

We do NOT allow Dinos to be made from copyright material like ‘kinsonas’ or ‘dekudogs’ as per Toyhouse and general rules. Taking some inspiration from a source material is fine, but please make sure to add your own creative twist to the concept. Remember: if we can recognize who your Dino is based off of, you have gone too far!

Trading and Reselling Policy

Candy Dinos do masterlist transfer exclusively on our Discord server. To transfer a Dino’s ownership, you’ll need to fill out the form in #masterlist-update with all the necessary details and have the new owner confirm the trade. Do NOT trade the Candy Dino before filling out the ownership transfer form!

If a trade or resale has happened and the Candy Dino’s ownership has still not been updated through #masterlist-update, please showcase a screenshot of your trade and, if possible, a confirmation from the previous owner that the Dino belongs to you.

Deleting a Candy Dino’s Toyhouse profile is PROHIBITED. If you no longer wish to own a Dino and don’t want to trade it to anyone, you may transfer them to the @CandyDinoStorage TH account to be used as a donated design – please discuss with the staff team about this by opening a ticket in #ticket-desk. This action is not reversible and you will no longer have ownership rights over the design.

All Candy Dinos have a 2-WEEK COOLDOWN from trading, reselling, and gifting from the time the Dino became yours.

You cannot sell a Candy Dino as an adoptable or auction unless you’re staff, permanent artist, or guest artist. In other words, if you create a Candy Dino, it can only be sold for a set pricing based on its initial and added monetary value.

If you received your Candy Dino via trade, gift, raffle, or event, you may NOT resell your Dino for monetary value unless you commissioned works for them. You may include personal art for monetary value but please use the average/typical cost of your commission prices based on the art pieces.

  • Example: If you typically sell halfbody art commissions for $50 and you drew a halfbody of your Dino, that adds $50 to the Dino’s worth. No higher.
  • Do NOT artificially inflate their value for resale purposes.

Adopt Policy

By purchasing a Candy Dino adopt, you are automatically agreeing to both the CS and designer/artist’s Terms of Service.

All sales are final. We are not responsible for any refunds, so please spend responsibly! If you sign up for our GA adopt batches and back down from paying for a design, repeat offences will get you banned from joining future batches.

Please ensure you have a method of paying USD, primarily PayPal, or other reliable methods like Cashapp/Venmo/Ko-fi/etc. If paying with alternative non-USD methods, like Steam credits or Robux, that the artist did not specify they’ll accept, the artist holds the right to deny your purchase.

Redesign Policy

For redesigning Candy Dinos, we’re quite flexible as long as the new design resembles its original version by 45%. Redesign edits are handled on a case-by-case basis, so we highly recommend checking the redesign through our server’s #myo-checks channel or opening a ticket in #ticket-desk before submitting them for reapproval.

Voiding Policy

You CANNOT void any official designs or guest artist designs made by staff, permanent artists (PA), or guest artists (GA).

If voiding a design, you must remove any Candy Dino traits. This includes the sweetmark, the bunny ears, the pompoms, and/or anything that makes the design identifiable as a Candy Dino. In addition, if the Candy Dino was created through a Semi-MYO, the Semi-MYO must have their Candy Dino traits removed as well.

Please reach out to staff through our #help-desk or #ticket-desk on Discord about voiding a design from the Masterlist and check in #myo-checks to see if your redesign meets requirements for voiding.

Species Currency & Item Policy

MYO tickets obtained via trade, gift, raffle or event CANNOT be sold!

Our species currency is called Nuggets, which can be obtained through events, raffles, trading with other users, or participating in our Biweekly Dino-Bite on our Discord Server. Nuggets and shop items are tradeable for other Candy Dino items, art, characters, etc. However, they CANNOT be sold for any kind of monetary value.

On the Discord server, we have a special game bot called Bambi Bot. You can earn bot-specific items which can only be traded for other bot items, meaning you CANNOT trade bot-specific items for things like Candy Dino items, art, characters, money, etc.

Code of Conduct

The Candy Dino CS community is strictly PG-13, meaning our community spaces (Discord server & TH world) will have younger teens. Please refrain from posting any NSFW content of any format in these spaces. This includes names, art, text, images, and characters that are NSFW in nature.

For potentially triggering or sensitive content, please list these warnings visibly and clearly. Any images with such content must also be SPOILERED, especially when shared in our Discord server. This includes flashing lights and eye straining colors.

Be respectful, kind and patient to community members and staff team! Any kind of discriminatory, insensitive, offensive, harassing, bigoted, pedophillic/pro-shipping, or overall hateful behaviour WILL NOT BE TOLERATED within the species and will get you banned. If any person shows signs of these behaviours, please report to the staff team so we can handle any situations of such users.

Keep venting, slandering or discussions of drama/PSAs of other users or closed species to a minimum. Do NOT contact the staff team regarding content that is unrelated to Candy Dinos, as we do not want to be involved in personal drama.

Do NOT disclose, dox, or expose anyone’s personal information, including yourself. This can include home addresses, phone number, location, etc. Posting selfies, pictures of yourself or your surroundings should be done at your careful discretion.

Please maintain good sportsmanship and be respectful when participating in events or game nights! Many of our events include a lot of hands-on involvement such as drawing, writing, and even designing Dinos. We ask that you be mindful of how your actions can affect the people around you and to not share comments that can be interpreted negatively. We do not want anyone to feel like their efforts are unappreciated, unvalued, or unwanted.

AI use of any kind is NOT allowed in our community. This includes the use of AI for heavy inspiration, tracing and events (e.g. in events where you create moodboards or write). Any users with AI generated content as profile pictures will be asked to change it for the comfort of our community members. AI use will result in a warning and repeat offences will get you banned from the server and TH world.

If you have any issues or concerns, please send a message to our staff team through Discord or Toyhouse OR open up a ticket in our server’s #ticket-desk. We will do our best to resolve your concerns to the best of our abilities.

T.O.S. Violations

Violating the T.O.S can lead to warnings, timeouts or bans! The staff team has the right to take disciplinary actions against users who break the T.O.S and have the right to refuse any future services within the Candy Dino community to offenders. In extreme cases, we have the right to blacklist you from any involvement in the species.
